Fourth of July Festivities at GSR

RENO, Nev. (June 18, 2025) – Kick off Independence Day weekend with unforgettable festivities at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino (GSR), where guests can enjoy live reggae music, delicious bites and a dazzling fireworks show over Grand Bay on Friday, July 4.

The celebration begins at 7 p.m. at The Pool, where guests can enjoy local food truck fare, refreshing drink specials and a festive atmosphere. Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12 for those who want to enjoy prime fireworks viewing poolside. Or head to select areas of the GSR parking lot for free, first-come, first-served access.

At 8 p.m., guests will be treated to live performances from Las Vegas-based reggae favorites Mojo Reggae and headliner Marlon Asher, performing sets throughout the evening. The reggae fun will pause during the fireworks display and will resume immediately after.

The night’s highlight is the Fireworks Over Grand Bay display starting at 9 p.m., weather permitting, lighting up the sky above the resort in a colorful, patriotic tribute.

In addition to Friday night’s celebration, GSR will offer a weekend of festive dining and entertainment. The Grand Buffet will serve a special Fourth of July dinner featuring berry BBQ chicken, smoked ribs, filet mignon and more. The buffet will be available Friday, July 4 from 5 to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, July 5–6, from 4 to 9 p.m.

Entertainment continues throughout the weekend with nightly magic performances at The White Rabbit Theater and Lounge. Guests can enjoy the family-friendly “That’s Magic!” and or the adults-only “Nocturnal” at 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
